One can visit here throughout the year. Its advised to avoid the monsoon season as because the jungles remain closed during the rainy season. By Road: Nearest roadway is National Highway 31. Chalsa 20 minutes from here. Lataguri is around 27 kms. There are regular and frequent bus services available from Siliguri to Chalsa, as well. From new mal junction rail station/Chalsa once can hire local passenger car to reach murti. Local bus depart from PC mittal bus stand(NJP/Siliguri) for Chalsa/Jaigaon in regular interval .
