Where to stay At Jaldhaka
Jaldhka is a small hill village so don’t expect much fancy accommodation options here . But there is few good home stay available in here . There is a Forest Rest House near jhalong river which is maintained by the West Bengal Forest Department Corporation Ltd (WBDC) .
Best Time to visit
One can visit Jaldhaka throughout the year except the monsoon season. The best time to visit here is considered to be the winter season from mid November to January when the weather is pleasant and tourist can get an unparalleled view of the Bhutan Hills.
How to Reach Jaldhaka
Jaldhaka can be reached from Siliguri/NJP, d8istance is around 90 Km and from Kalimpong (135Kms), 28 Km from New mal junction rail station and only 17 km from Murti. The Jaldhaka valley area can be reached on road. If you travel West to East through the arterial Dooars road of NH 31, you will reach Khunia crossing situated between Chalsa and Nagrakata. From the Khunia crossing, the road running North,about 20 km ahead will takes to the spot.
